Personalised treatment

Patient treatment programs at Mater Cancer Care Centre are personalised to meet individual care needs and tailored to ensure that every patient receives the highest level of medical care and support during their cancer journey. By offering a wide range of support services, our team of healthcare professionals ensure patients’ health and wellbeing is at the core of everything we do.

Resource library

A private library, just for patients, houses clinical information, pamphlets, books and brochures to support a patient's cancer journey.

Treatment pods

Treatment pods are designed to give patients a relaxed and comfortable experience during their stay. Features include: dimmer switches, controlled recliner chairs and technology-friendly posts for smart phone, lap top or tablet connection.

Refreshments

A delicious all day dining menu is available to order meals and snacks.

In-house pharmacy

Mater Pharmacy stocks special items and retail products suited for patients visiting the Mater Cancer Care Centre. The pharmacy utilises and electronic ordering system so that patient medicines are dispensed by the onsite Mater Pharmacist to avoid any delays.

Patient transportation and parking

As part of our commitment to providing exceptional patient care, Mater Cancer Care Centre offers a dedicated patient transportation and parking facility. This ensures patients can expect safe and convenient access to the centre at all times during their care.

Located on Level 0 of Hancock Street Car Park, our patient parking is only 200 metres from the centre. A courtesy vehicle is available for all patients for pick up and drop off from the car park to the centre. You can arrange this in advance by phoning reception, or use the phone provided on level zero at the time of your appointment.

At peak times, there may be a sign at the main Hancock Street entrance stating the car park building is full. This does not apply to Level Zero and you may enter as normal.

Patients with private health insurance

Mater Cancer Care Centre provide services for Patients with Private Health Insurance.
